A retail chain's attendance problem is distribution. Twenty stores means twenty places where someone could be marking a colleague present, and twenty spreadsheets arriving at head office in twenty different formats at the end of the month.
Retail attendance software has to work at the store and report at the chain. Each outlet is small — often one terminal and no IT support — but head office needs every store compared on the same basis. AionHRMS runs one register across all outlets, lets a store manager see only their own team, and computes salary from shift attendance so the month closes without twenty spreadsheets.
Each store on its own is trivial. The difficulty is that there are many of them, they open and close, and staff move between them during festivals and sales.
Retail shifts have hard edges — the shutter goes up at a fixed time. Late marking with a grace period you define makes that measurable without anyone standing at the entrance with a register.
