Biometric attendance for retail stores and chains

A retail chain's attendance problem is distribution. Twenty stores means twenty places where someone could be marking a colleague present, and twenty spreadsheets arriving at head office in twenty different formats at the end of the month.

Retail attendance software has to work at the store and report at the chain. Each outlet is small — often one terminal and no IT support — but head office needs every store compared on the same basis. AionHRMS runs one register across all outlets, lets a store manager see only their own team, and computes salary from shift attendance so the month closes without twenty spreadsheets.

Small sites, large estate

Each store on its own is trivial. The difficulty is that there are many of them, they open and close, and staff move between them during festivals and sales.

  • One terminal per store, all reporting to one organisation
  • Store managers scoped to their own outlet; head office sees everything
  • Staff moved between stores for a sale are enrolled once
  • New outlets added without a new installation or a new login

Shift discipline without a supervisor at the door

Retail shifts have hard edges — the shutter goes up at a fixed time. Late marking with a grace period you define makes that measurable without anyone standing at the entrance with a register.

  • Grace period set once, applied consistently across every store
  • Late penalties as a flat fine or a fraction of a shift, above a threshold you choose
  • Break-out and break-in captured for staff on split duty
  • Monthly payroll report across the whole chain

Frequently asked questions

Can a store manager see only their own store?
Yes. Access is scoped by role, so an outlet administrator sees their own staff and head office sees the chain.
What if we open a new store mid-month?
Register the terminal, push your staff list to it, and it joins the same register. There is no separate installation or licence per outlet.
Is it priced per store or per employee?
Per site, with unlimited employees and terminals at that site.
